Childrens and Young Peoples Ministry
Creche
During our Sunday Worship Service the Church Office is open for parents with young children to use if they become restless in the service. This is not Supervised and so parents will remain responsible for the care of their children.
Sunday School
Every Sunday we offer Sunday School for children between the ages of 5 and 11. This is held during the sermon and the children will normally have stayed in the service during the worship time. We would ask the parents of any new children to complete a registration form for their children which will identify any allergies and provide us with contact details.
The Sunday School is there to give the children age-appropriate teaching of the Bible and will generally include a time for crafts. We want all our children to enjoy church and to learn about the love of Jesus for them. We pray that they will make friends with the other children in the class and that they may all come to a personal trust in Jesus as their Saviour. All Sunday School teachers are DBS checked in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.
Young People
We currently have a small but growing group of young people over the age of 11 and once a fortnight they too with have an activity during the sermon. On the alternate weeks they will remain in the Service. This activity is will be based around studying the Bible together. We aim to create a relaxed and friendly environment where they can discuss together a variety of subjects and also specific sections of the Word of God.
Once a month we hold a social event on a Friday evening when they can invite their friends and enjoy time together just relaxing with each other. All of these activities are lead by Youth Leaders who are members of the church and have a passion to see our young people grow in their faith and personal love for Jesus. All our youth leaders are DBS checked in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.
